Cade il velo sull’elenco iscritti. Auto spettacolari pronte al 19° Revival Rally Club Valpantena.

La regolarità sport numero 1 in Italia si prepara per la seconda edizione a porte chiuse, ma carica di energia e di una lunga lista di stupende auto da rally. Al via anche “Lucky”, Tony Fassina, Adriano Baso e Jacopo Biasion, figlio di Miki. Sfida al centesimo di secondo per il Trofeo Tre Regioni 2021.

09.11.2021 - Online l’elenco iscritti del 19° Revival Rally Club Valpantena, la regolarità sport organizzata dal Rally Club Valpantena che si svolgerà venerdì 12 e sabato 13 novembre tra la Valpantena e la Lessinia con partenza e arrivo da Grezzana e grazie al supporto di Banca Valsabbina, Bellamoli Granulati, Bertani, AGSM AIM, Bendinelli, Villa Ca’ Vendri, Just, F.lli Scala Marmi, Rext, Zero Timing, Digital Valpolicella, Ferrari BK e FRAC.

Sono 207 gli iscritti con tantissime vetture di grande pregio che contribuiranno a proseguire la tradizione di una manifestazione che in questi quasi vent’anni ha trovato sempre il grande appoggio e affetto degli appassionati, dentro e fuori dagli abitacoli. Un evento nato e cresciuto per far rivivere l’epoca d’oro dei rally con una formula, la regolarità sport, che non prevede velocità ma precisione e che permette quindi divertimenti ai regolaristi, ai collezionisti ed ai semplici appassionati.

L’edizione 2021 dedicherà il consueto tributo alla Fiat Ritmo Abarth, vettura con la quale l’amico Attilio Bettega scrisse indimenticate pagine di storia a cavallo tra gli anni Settanta ed Ottanta. A partire con il numero uno, in livrea Alitalia, l'esemplare che il pilota di Molveno portò in gara al Rallye Monte-Carlo 1979. Guiderà il figlio Alessandro, navigato da Nicola Vettoretti, graditissimo ospite di una 19^ edizione molto attesa.

All’interno del Trofeo saranno 16 le Fiat Ritmo iscritte. Partiranno tutte davanti per una festa di colori e di suoni che permetterà ad uno dei modelli più iconici di casa Abarth di essere celebrato anche sulle strade del Valpantena. Sei saranno Fiat Ritmo 75 Gruppo 2 in altrettante livree, per poi proseguire con le Abarth 130TC e le 125TC. Tra gli equipaggi partecipanti anche Mauro Argenti e Roberta Amorosa, con una 125TC in livrea “Totip” da tenere in considerazione anche per la classifica assoluta dell’evento.

Subito dopo le ritmo cominceranno tutte le altre vetture, con Lancia, Opel, Alpine, Volkswagen, Porsche, Ford, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Renault, Talbot ed Autobianchi. Aprirà il plotone “Lucky” Battistolli con Luigi Cazzaro sulla Lancia Delta Integrale 16V della Key Sport. Il Presidente dell’Automobile Club Vicenza è un grandissimo appassionato oltre che un grande amico del Rally Club Valpantena. Gli farà eco anche Adriano Baso, Presidente dell’Automobile Club Verona, con la sua Fiat 131 Abarth in coppia con Gianluca Micheloni per A.C. Verona Historic. Due presenze di assoluto rilievo sportivo che avvalorano l’importanza di questa manifestazione in Italia.

Torna al Valpantena anche Tony Fassina con Marco Verdelli su una bellissima Lancia Stratos preparata dalla Key Sport. Saranno ben tre le “dee del vento”, oltre a quella di Tony anche “Febis”-Finotti e Tolfo-Zanet porteranno in gara l’iconica e leggendaria vettura Lancia by Bertone, uno dei modelli immortali del rallysmo italiano nel mondo. Al via anche un importante figlio d’arte, Jacopo Biasion con Marta Carello su Opel Kadett GTE (Team Bassano), figlio di Miki, a seguire un iter che hai già portato bene ad Alberto Battistolli, debuttante al Valpantena con una Kadett GTE qualche anno fa e recentemente vincitore nel Campionato Italiano Rally al Liburna Terra.

Beghetto-Mabilia guideranno una stupenda Lancia Rally 037, altra vettura che ha scritto pagine di leggenda nel rally tricolore, mentre “Moleta” con Mauro Umberto Lucchi porterà al debutto sulle strade veronesi una rarissima Triumph TR8 ex Tony Pond per i colori della Scaligera Rallye.

Numeri come di consueto da capogiro che dopo la difficile edizione 2020, limitata dall'esplosione della seconda ondata dell’emergenza Covid-19, il Valpantena torna sui numeri che gli appartengono: 17 Porsche, 25 BMW di cui 14 M3, 37 Opel, 36 Fiat con 27 modelli in preparazione Abarth, 16 Ford, 4 Toyota tra cui la stupenda Celica ST 165 replica Sainz di Gasparini-Tommasi (Pro Energy Motorsport) e la rara Corolla AE86 di Frank Axthelm e Stefan Siebert, uno dei 12 equipaggi stranieri al via.

L’affetto europeo per l’evento vedrà in gara alcuni grandi amici, tra cui Martin e Petr Uhrik, dalla Repubblica Ceca, con una Skoda Favorit 136L, Marco Maurer e Patrick LUtz, funambolico driver austriaco con la sua Audi Quattro così come Patrik Gaubinger e Verena Prack, sempre su Audi Quattro. Stupenda la Porsche 911 SC/RS in livrea Rothmans di Michael Stoschek e Philipp Spath (Brose Motorsport), mentre Thomas Plueschke e Barbara Ziegler (Team De LYS) tenteranno con la loro piccola Peugeot 205 GTI di infilarsi nelle zone alte della classifica come successo nella scorsa edizione.

La lista delle vetture da non perdere sarebbe impossibile da indicare per intero, così come quella dei potenziali protagonisti per la vittoria. La validità come penultimo appuntamento del Trofeo Tre Regioni ha consentito l’importante interesse anche dei regolaristi iscritti al Trofeo che si aggiungeranno anche ai locali molto agguerriti ed ai tanti specialisti del pressostato.

Anche in questo caso la lista è lunghissima e include Adami-Costalunga (Lancia Fulvia 1.3 S/Scaligera Rallye), Monti-Vida (Peugeot 304), Manzini-Ambrogi (Lancia Fulvia Coupe/Scuderia del Grifone), Fabbri-Sartore 8Volvo 144 S/Progetto MITE), Franzoso-Contiero (Autobianchi A112 Abarth/Progetto MITE), Giacoppo-Oliviero (Lancia Fulvia HF/Team Bassano), Zanchi-Gugole (Volkswagen Golf GTI/Scaligera Rallye), Maiolo-Paracchini (Porsche 911 RSR/Rallyclub Team), questi ultimi vincitori nell’edizione 2020, Coghi-Coghi (Opel Ascona 400/Pro Energy Motorsport).

Dopo le procedure di accredito, il 19° Revival Rally Club Valpantena entrerà nel vivo sabato 13 novembre con nove prove cronometrate a tempo. “Alcenago” di 4.78 chilometri con salita dalla strada vecchia di Alcenago, passaggio dalla chiesa e discesa dalla provinciale fino quasi ad incrociare la partenza; “Roverè” e “San Francesco” molto simili in salita su quella che è diventata la strada simbolo del Valpantena, che si disputeranno in doppio passaggio a 30 minuti una dall’altra, poi “Praole” con il suo celebre tratto sterrato in salita dal Vajo della Pernisa tra Cerro e Rosaro. Partenza e arrivo a Grezzana Piazza Ballini: start alle 8.49 e arrivo alle 17:01.

Le strade chiuderanno circa un’ora prima del passaggio del primo concorrente e riapriranno al passaggio della vettura scopa anche tra primo e secondo giro. Il Parco Assistenza sarà allestito lungo la SP6 all’altezza della “sdoppiata” di Stallavena. Riordini al Supermercato FRAC di Stallavena e a Villa Vendri. Partenza, arrivo, parco assistenza e riordini saranno ad accesso consentito per i soli concorrenti ed addetti ai lavori previa registrazione Covid-19. L’evento, come tutte le gare in Italia, si svolgerà a porte chiuse.

The veil falls on the entry list. Spectacular cars ready for the 19th Revival Rally Club Valpantena.

Italy's number 1 regularity sport event is preparing for its second edition behind closed doors, but full of energy and a long list of wonderful rally cars. At the start also "Lucky", Tony Fassina, Adriano Baso and Jacopo Biasion, Miki's son. A challenge to the hundredth of a second for the Trofeo Tre Regioni 2021.

09.11.2021 - Online the entry list of the 19th Revival Rally Club Valpantena, the regularity sport event organized by Rally Club Valpantena that will take place on Friday 12 and Saturday 13 November between Valpantena and Lessinia with start and finish in Grezzana and thanks to the support of Banca Valsabbina, Bellamoli Granulati, Bertani, AGSM AIM, Bendinelli, Villa Ca' Vendri, Just, F.lli Scala Marmi, Rext, Zero Timing, Digital Valpolicella, Ferrari BK and FRAC.

There are 207 entrants with many prestigious cars that will contribute to continue the tradition of an event that in these almost twenty years has always found the great support and affection of fans, inside and outside the cockpit. An event born and raised to revive the golden age of rallies with a formula, the regularity sport, which does not involve speed but precision and therefore allows fun to regularity drivers, collectors and simple fans.

The 2021 edition will dedicate the usual annual tribute to the Fiat Ritmo Abarth, car with which Attilio Bettega wrote unforgettable pages of history between the seventies and eighties. Starting with number 1, in Alitalia livery, the car that the driver from Molveno drove in the 1979 Monte-Carlo Rallye. It will be driven by his son Alessandro, navigated by Nicola Vettoretti, very welcome guest of a much awaited 19th edition.

There will be 16 Fiat Ritmo cars entered in the Trofeo. They will all start at the front for a great moment of colours and sounds that will allow one of the most iconic Abarth models to be celebrated on the roads of Valpantena. Six will be Fiat Ritmo 75 Group 2 in as many liveries, followed by the Abarth 130TC and 125TC. Among the participating crews also Mauro Argenti and Roberta Amorosa, with a 125TC in "Totip" livery to be considered also for the overall classification of the event

Immediately after the pace all the other cars will start, with Lancia, Opel, Alpine, Volkswagen, Porsche, Ford, BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Renault, Talbot and Autobianchi. The platoon will be opened by "Lucky" Battistolli with Luigi Cazzaro on the Lancia Delta Integrale 16V of Key Sport. The President of the Automobile Club Vicenza is a great fan as well as a great friend of the Rally Club Valpantena. He will be echoed by Adriano Baso, President of Automobile Club Verona, with his Fiat 131 Abarth paired with Gianluca Micheloni for A.C. Verona Historic. Two presences of absolute sporting importance that confirm the importance of this event in Italy.

Tony Fassina is back to Valpantena with Marco Verdelli on a beautiful Lancia Stratos prepared by Key Sport. There will be three "goddesses of the wind", in addition to Tony, also "Febis"-Finotti and Tolfo-Zanet will bring to the race the iconic and legendary car Lancia by Bertone, one of the immortal models of Italian rallying in the world.

Beghetto-Mabilia will drive a beautiful Lancia Rally 037, another car that has written pages of legend in the Italian rally, while "Moleta" with Mauro Umberto Lucchi will bring to the debut on the roads of Verona a very rare Triumph TR8 ex Tony Pond for the colours of Scaligera Rallye.

After the difficult 2020 edition, limited by the explosion of the second wave of the Covid-19 emergency, Valpantena is back on its usual numbers: 17 Porsches, 25 BMWs including 14 M3s, 37 Opels, 36 Fiats with 27 models in Abarth preparation, 16 Fords, 4 Toyotas including the wonderful Celica ST 165 replica Sainz of Gasparini-Tommasi (Pro Energy Motorsport) and the rare Corolla AE86 of Frank Axthelm and Stefan Siebert, one of the 12 foreign crews at the start.

The European affection for the event will see some great friends competing, including Martin and Petr Uhrik, from the Czech Republic, in a Skoda Favorit 136L, Marco Maurer and Patrick LUtz, a tightrope walker from Austria in his Audi Quattro as well as Patrik Gaubinger and Verena Prack, also in an Audi Quattro. The Porsche 911 SC/RS in Rothmans livery of Michael Stoschek and Philipp Spath (Brose Motorsport) is stunning, while Thomas Plueschke and Barbara Ziegler (Team De LYS) will try with their small Peugeot 205 GTI to slip into the top areas of the standings as happened in the last edition.

The list of cars not to be missed would be impossible to indicate in full, as well as that of the potential protagonists for victory. The validity as the penultimate round of the Trofeo Tre Regioni has allowed the important interest also of the regulars registered to the Trophy that will join the very fierce locals and the many specialists of the pressostat.

Again the list is very long and includes Adami-Costalunga (Lancia Fulvia 1. 3 S/Scaligera Rallye), Monti-Vida (Peugeot 304), Manzini-Ambrogi (Lancia Fulvia Coupe/Scuderia del Grifone), Fabbri-Sartore 8Volvo 144 S/Progetto MITE), Franzoso-Contiero (Autobianchi A112 Abarth/Progetto MITE), Giacoppo-Oliviero (Lancia Fulvia HF/Team Bassano), Zanchi-Gugole (Volkswagen Golf GTI/Scaligera Rallye), Maiolo-Paracchini (Porsche 911 RSR/Rallyclub Team), the latter winners of the 2020 edition, Coghi-Coghi (Opel Ascona 400/Pro Energy Motorsport).

After the accreditation procedures, the 19th Valpantena Revival Rally Club will get into full swing on Saturday 13 November with nine timed time trials. "Alcenago" of 4.78 kilometres with uphill from the old road of Alcenago, passing by the church and downhill from the provincial road until almost crossing the start; "Roverè" and "San Francesco" very similar uphill on what has become the symbolic road of Valpantena, which will be disputed in double passage at 30 minutes one from the other, then "Praole" with its famous uphill gravel part from Vajo della Pernisa between Cerro and Rosaro. Start and finish in Grezzana Piazza Ballini: start at 8.49am and finish at 5.01pm.

The roads will close about one hour before the passage of the first competitor and will reopen to the passage of the safety-car also between the first and second run. The Service Park will be set up along the SP6 at Stallavena. Regrouping at FRAC Supermarket in Stallavena and at Villa Vendri. Departure, arrival, service park and tidying up will be allowed only to competitors and professionals after registration Covid-19. The event, like all the races in Italy, will take place behind closed doors.
